The animation fit beautifully with it all, too.

For a first animation, it's not that bad. You added facial expressions and sound. A lot more than some other first timers.

I've seen MUCH worse. Oh...the horrors I've seen in the portal...

I think you're wrong in one aspect. It does follow Star Wars science. She can be in the cold of space without any skin protection, and still not have her blood freeze. I, for one, am fine with that. It's a fantasy movie. Suspension of disbelief, and all that.
I did find the physics between the magneboots* to be a little weird.
